Returns & Warranty Policy

All Customers who purchase products from Deviate Motoring, LLC agree to the following terms and conditions.  Policies are subject to change without notice.  The most current policies are always posted below.

Returns

Deviate Motoring only sells custom fabricated wheels, built to your order, and machined specifically to fit your vehicle.  Due to this, returns or refunds are not accepted.

Orders may be cancelled prior to shipment of the items, but are subject to a 25% restocking fee.  Any wheels with custom paint-matching color upgrades are subject to a 50% restocking fee.  Once the wheels have shipped from the manufacturer or Deviate Motoring, returns or refunds are not accepted.

Deviate Motoring guarantees fitment to your vehicle, but it is the Customer's responsibility to check for proper fitment on the vehicle BEFORE tires are mounted.  There are no returns accepted for wheels that have had tires mounted, unless the tires were mounted by Deviate Motoring.  We understand that Customers will sometimes make special requests for their own desired offsets, widths, and fitments.  Wheels that were ordered using Customer supplied fitment specifications are not valid for return or exchange.

It is also the Customer's responsibility to disclose to Deviate Motoring, prior to placing the order, any non-OEM parts on the vehicle that could affect wheel or tire fitment.  These items include, but are not limited to, lowering springs or coil-overs, aftermarket brake components, suspension or axle upgrades, minitubs, rolled fender lips, non-OEM camber settings, etc..  Customer must provide drawing templates and measurements for aftermarket brake components, these are usually located on the brake manufacturer's website.

Brand new, unmounted wheels that are found to have fitment or defect issues will be repaired or replaced, at the discretion of Deviate Motoring and the Wheel Manufacturer.  The wheel(s) in question must be returned to the manufacturer, in the original shipping boxes.  Deviate Motoring or the Wheel Manufacturer will cover the return shipping on any defective wheel.  UPS ground or FedEx ground are the only accepted shipping methods.  Overnight or expedited shipping can be arranged, but the cost difference is responsibility of the Customer.  These defects need to be notified to Deviate Motoring within 30 calendar days of receipt of the wheels.

Deviate Motoring is not responsible for manufacturing delays related to wheel manufacturers.  At the point of sale, our best estimate of the build time is presented on the invoice.  These are estimates only, not firm delivery dates.  Some brands do offer a guaranteed or expedited build program, which is an additional cost.  Please inquire about those build programs when ordering.  Deviate Motoring is also not responsible for your vehicle being immobile due to not having wheels, or having bald tires.  We recommend that you do not sell your current wheels and tires until you have the replacement new wheels in hand.  We also recommend that you order replacement wheels and tires at least 3 months before your current tires wear out.  Further delays could also result if the new wheels are found defective of have fitment issues.  We understand the inconvenience, but are not responsible for vehicles being immobile due to wheel orders placed through Deviate Motoring.

Warranty

Deviate Motoring does not directly warrantee any product or service provided on this site.  All of the products sold through this site, however, do carry manufacturer warrantees.  It is the customer's responsibility to verify and accept any warranty terms prior to placing an order.  Although rare, if a warranty issue does occur, Deviate Motoring will gladly assist the customer in determining the appropriate course of action and help with manufacturer warranty claims.

Refunds or returns are not acceptable solutions for warranty cases.

Most wheel brands typically fall under the following example manufacturer warranty.  Warranty does not transfer, it is only valid for the original purchaser.

1. For paint, chrome, or finish defects - 1 calendar year plus 2 months from the date of purchase of the wheels.  We recommend only soap and water to be used to clean wheels.  Never use pressure washers or wheel cleaning chemicals.

2. For structural issues - Lifetime warranty, only to expire if wheel manufacturer is out of business, or wheel design or size becomes discontinued or obsolete.

Warranty claims caused by, or related to, the following events will not be considered.  These include, but are not limited to, road damage, improper mounting of tires, abuse, cleaning chemicals or severe enviromental exposure, pressure washing, road salt, or any evidence of impact or curbing, etc.

In the case of warranty work, most Manufacturers prefer to handle these issues directly, others may be facilitated through Deviate Motoring.  Each claim will be handled on a case by case basis.  Wheel(s) in question may be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Deviate Motoring and the Manufacturer.  Customer is responsible for all initial shipping and packaging costs related to warranty work.  Customer is also responsible for any mount or dismount labor costs related to warranty work.  If the wheel(s) are found defective upon inspection by the Manufacturer, they will be repaired or replaced, and shipped back to Customer at the cost of the Manufacturer.  If the wheels are found to be defective due to any issues listed above, the wheel will be returned to the Customer at the shipping cost of the Customer.
